Trauma Therapy
According to trauma-oriented studies and associated data, nearly 3 of 4 adults will experience a major trauma at some point in their life, and 1 of 5 of these adults will develop mental health disorder or the type of trauma-related response which will be debilitating and affect their daily activities for a prolonged period of time. Unaddressed or untreated traumatic response is a major catalyst for alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, depression, and other emotional problems.
Jan Freeman has been working with clients who have experienced severe trauma for decades, and it is a core part of her practice. Her extensive training for trauma-related problems including PTSD, DID, and other dissociative disorders and issues related to trauma recovery have helped many patients go beyond the traumatic event to a level of growth and emotional and psychological wellness that they hadn’t experienced even prior to the trauma.
Please reach out and contact Jan Freeman if you are experiencing issues related to trauma, recent or otherwise, and are ready to begin the road to a healthy and full recovery. Reaching out is the first step, and a sign that you are already on the road.
